What To Expect

Whether you already exercise regularly, or are just starting out; whether you're looking to improve your stamina, strength and muscle tone levels or simply your suppleness and flexibility; I will encourage you and show you how to do it enjoyably and effectively.

Getting started

The FREE taster session - This is an informal meeting where we can discuss any specific goals you have relating to your health and fitness. It will give you a great insight into how I can help you reach these goals, and of course whether you feel comfortable to continue. It is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions or voice any concerns you have regarding training.

After an initial discussion I will take you through some of the basic exercises I think are going to help you reach your goals. This will also give me a good idea of your fitness levels so that I can design a fitness plan which is perfect for you.

You will also walk away with a free Elite Personal Fitness 'Starter Pack' which I have put together to give you a firm starting point from a knowledge point of view. It includes tips on how to encourage weight loss, and how to increase your energy levels.

 

Your First Personal Training Session - The session will begin with a chat about how you can effectively supplement your fitness regime by making small changes to your diet, and I will offer advice on how best to do this and will leave you with some handy sheets to aid you when I'm are not around.

I will then of course get started on some exercise! In the time between your taster session and your first paid session, I will design a fitness regime that I feel will get you on the road to meeting your goals. This will be reviewed regularly as your fitness levels and confidence increase.

After training with me you will immediately notice that my style of training is not that of an army general or a typical 'gym-bruiser'. We will train in a fun and relaxed, but productive and motivational manner, and my aim is for all of my clients to really enjoy their training sessions.

Ultimately, you will be giving up your spare time to train, so it is important that you find the sessions enjoyable and get noticeable results. Getting fit can be fun with the right trainer!
